_le pitch : BAD NEWS, réchauffement climatique, COVID, perte de la bio-diversité, flux migratoires, malnutrition, inondations, acidification des océans, incendies, les politiques, les faux journalistes, l’inaction…
STOP. J’installe mon extracteur d’idées noires !
_le traitement musical : grosse caisse et basse sont volontairement saturées dès le début de la composition, elles évoquent les battements du coeur dans les tempes; un empilement de sonorités métalliques allant crescendo exprime la montée du stress; l’installation de l’extracteur est incarné par l’ajout d’une section violons alto et d’une rythmique à la guitare sèche… Puis le trie entre bonnes et mauvaises « ondes » débute, symbolisé par l’introduction d’un piano électronique Fender, du xylophone, du triangle et des synthés libérant graduellement la charge mentale du personnage.

_the pitch: global warming, COVID, loss of biodiversity, migratory flows, malnutrition, floods, ocean acidification, fires, politicians, bogus journalists, inaction … STOP. I install my black ideas extractor!
_the musical treatment: bass drum and bass are deliberately saturated from the start of the composition, they evoke the beating of the heart in the temples; a stack of metallic tones going crescendo expresses the rise in stress; the installation of the extractor is embodied by the addition of a viola section and a rhythmic guitar dry … Then the sorting between good and bad « waves » begins, symbolized by the introduction of a Fender electronic piano, xylophone and triangle, gradually releasing the mental load of the character.
